Complication and Sequellae from an Ocular Injury

Abstract
With the most recent remarkable economic growth, an ocular injury has become incidentally to outbreak and gradually increasing in number due to an accident from personal violence and intricated traffic as the development of michine-industry, the modernization and the high-speed of society have been rapidly expanded in compliance with the National Industry Promotion Policy. The injury thereof also has tendency to become diversified and serious.
Eyes having a precise structure, they may be caused a fatally functional disorder even by minor injury from outside which can bring about a considerable difficulty to make a living.
Such an ocular injury, according to the theory by Duke-Elder, can be prevented by 90%, and also be removed the cause of an accident through automatic device for safety, improvement of working circumstances, weaking of eye-protective glasses, safety sanitation trainimg and periodic and through ocular examination. The proper medical examination and treatmentat an early stage will prevent
emergency patients from losing sight.
Because an ocular injury can be occurred at any time and any place, Surgeon, Orthopedist, Neuro-surgeon or General Practitioner will become to treat emergency patients before Ophthalmologist. Accordingly, they will be the first to face an ocular injury and be possessed with knowledge necessary to treat the injury.
The descriptions hereinafter are the common and easy ocular injury rather than professional one and the treatment by first-aid doctor, and the complication or sequellae that may be easily occured in the future.
